Co-host Tom Howie sits down with Willy to learn more about his backstory and perspective on this unexpected love journey. During this interview, Willy shares his whirlwind battle with cancer and how it was interwoven with volunteering on his first tour the year before meeting Dawn. He also dives into his musical background– sharing briefly about his band, recording history, and how he got into music in the first place.
Willy answers an array of questions, ranging from living in a Soviet/post-Soviet controlled country, how he got his nickname, and if he saw any sign posts leading him towards his future before meeting Dawn. He reveals that he did indeed receive one, prompting him to consider moving. In Part 2, our leading man will open up about his perspective of the tour and we’ll find out when exactly he fell in love. Was it also unexpected?
